今回の発表では、日台双方の学校で、今まで行われてきたボランティア活動を紹介し、その内容を相互評価します。沖縄尚学側は、学校で取り組まれてきたボランティアの歴史を紹介します。学外の早朝清掃、医療ボランティアなど、社会との関わりを持った継続的なものから、津波や地震災害支援、復興のための教育支援など、多義にわたります。このなかで、私たちが感じていることは、高校生として、募金であっても、親のお金を寄付するのではなく、チャリティーコンサートなどで自らがお金を作り出すことが大切ではないかということです。また、継続的な支援を要するところへ、継続して協力できる体制を作る必要も感じています。台湾側は、アフリカ救済のプロジェクトについて紹介する予定です。
これらをもとにして、これからこんなボランティアがあればいいなということを話し合います。
Okinawa Shogaku team will introduce its history of voluntary activities which
have been conducted. The voluntary activities cover wide range of areas such
as the early-morning clean-ups for the neighborhood of school, health care support
for a child of an intractable disease, support for the people who suffer from
catastrophic events of tsunami and earthquake, and educational support for redevelopment
of the areas facing great difficulties. What we have learned as high school
students through the voluntary activities are that it is important not to rely
on our parents' pocket for the money needed to support the people suffering
from the natural disasters. We believe that it is very important to raise funds
by our own efforts in such a manner as organizing a charity concert. Also, we
realized that we need such a system that could extend sustained-supports whoever
so needed. Taiwan team will introduce you about their projects for a relief
of Africa.
Based on the examples of our voluntary activities at the both school, we would
like to discuss about voluntary activities needed in the future.
