Today, December 24 2000, we, Taiwan A-JET students had an unforgettable tourist with the Japanese students that were here for ASEP.  In National Sun-yet University, we took a look around the famous spot, called Hsitzu Bay.  I believe that all the Japanese had a great wonderful time there.  When they got off the bus, they seemed really, really excited.  Maybe we Taiwan students think that it¡¦s not really very interesting, but to the Japanese students, it was their first time to be here.  Watching ships driving out the Kaohsiung Port, watching couples sitting on the short wall, and taking pictures around the bay, I sure bet it must be fun for them.  After all, seeing a university built just between the mountains and the sea, it must be a special feeling, a feeling that can let you feel totally free.

Next we went in the university, and we took the bus to take a ride around the campus.   We drove all away up toward the highest building in the university.  Then the bus stopped and we took a look around.  Because time wasn¡¦t enough, so we had to go back and start going to the Lotus Pond.  Though time wasn¡¦t really much, but anyway we had a great time together.

My Thoughts

Today I walked in Kaohsiung.

Kaohsiung has a lot of color!!!

What I¡¦m left in my heart is Spring and Autumn Pavilions!!

There are Spring Pavilion and Autumn Pavilion.

They are tower, and really tall!

There is a very big DRAGON between Spring Pavilion and Autumn Pavilion.

The Dragon is very colorful, for example, green, red, white and yellow!

It¡¦s so beautiful!!! Then I felt a lot of verve from it.

It made me very exciting!!! I have never seen such big Dragon and these towers.

So I really moved!!

In the morning of December 24, we (Tomoko, Hitomi, Steven, Kathy, and Vivienne) had a city tour in Kaohsiung. The first spot is a shrine in the mountain. The shine was built for those who die for the Republic of China. We took pictures there and viewed the city from the top. Then we went to the National Sun Yet-sen University. We saw couples sitting at the sea bank. It is a romantic place. Later, we took the bus to the Spring and Autumn Pavilion and the Confucius Temple. There are many ancient Chinese style buildings. It is really a hot tourist spot.

Each of us saw a lot of interesting things and had a lot of fun. It sure is the best city tour we¡¦ve ever had.
