How's your project going? Is your school getting along with partner schools?
I would like to make sure some important points of this meeting.It's rather
late, though.


The keyword of this meeting is  " rectify misconception "
In order to work with this theme,
1.First  exchange ' THe Image of Your country'
  do some researches, such as ' In Japan, high school students can drive a
car.' (Yes, 20%, No 80%)....if you count the numbers of yes or no, and see
the ratio , it will make the image  clear.
2. then, talking about the image on ML , find the misconception we have had
about the partner's country.
3. making a presentation, focusing on the change which you will find


 we are going to make a proper presentation.(the
title depends on the group )
  I'm thinking of asking the following questions to the students. please


Mrs.Sylvia has already sent me the answers of her students. Sylvia, will you
count the numbers of the yes and no,? It will be much easier to see the
students genaral idea.

γ€€ 1.γ€€All students have portable phones.
   2. School regulation is strict.
γ€€ 3 Most high schools have their own uniforms.
   4. Students have to do lots of homeworks.
 γ€€5. After school. most of the students do part time jobs.γ€€
γ€€ 6. In America, the number of public high shools is larger than that of
      private ones.
γ€€ 7. There are air conditioner in every high school.
   8.Students have lunch at a  school cafeteria
   9. Students can drive a car.
  10. Students live with their family.γ€€γ€€
  11.Students can choose subject freely. It means most subjects are
elective.
γ€€12.There are some school festivals, such as culture festival, sports day,
and a one day school
     excursion.
  13. Most studetns read comics.
  14. Japanese animation videos like pokemon, mononoke, are very popular.
γ€€15. Every class has its own classroom teacher who takes care of the
students' lives. γ€€γ€€
γ€€16. ' Examination into universities ' is very difficult, so there exists '
Examination hell'


・About daily life
  1. English is mostly spoken on TV.
γ€€2. People tend to watch TV for hours a day.
γ€€3. Studetns have their own rooms at home.
γ€€4. Most studens don't live with their grandfather and grandmother.
  5. A credit card can be used at anyplace, at anytime..
γ€€6. Most students have no interest to politics.
γ€€7. Every one has a computer at home.

・About society
γ€€1.Convenience stores, opend 24hours and selling all things, are found
everywhere in the country.
γ€€2.Rental video shops and rental CD shops are everywhere.
  3.There are lots of foreign tourists in your place.
γ€€4.Peple speak English everyday.
γ€€5.Smoking is totally prohibited in public places, like hospitals,
stations, government offices.
  6.Garbege recycling system is arranged by the government.
γ€€7.The prices is lower, compared with Japan
γ€€8.Crime rate is high.
